Long Island Music Festival
Saturday, June 3, 2017

****URGENT UPDATE****

Dear Prelude Members attending the LIMF,

This is URGENT: Our time slot for the Long Island Music Festival, Saturday 6/3, has been moved UP!!  We are performing at 12:30pm.  We are to report to Von Nostrand Theatre at SCCC by 12:00, latest, to check in and warm-up.

On Saturday, June 3rd, Prelude Singers arrive promptly at 11:45am (12:00pm latest!), dressed and ready for our performance. We are performing at SCCC, Van Nostrand Theatre 1001 Crooked Hill Rd, Brentwood, NY 11717 .  Our warm-up time will be at 12:00pm.  Our performance time is 12:30pm and should be over by 1:00pm. Singers are to wear their LICC Blue Polo-shirt with black dress pants and black dress shoes.

Parents will be responsible for transporting their Singer to the festival site and Adventureland. This is not a drop-off event.  Students must have an adult present at all times. Parents are welcome to watch the performance session as long as they are not disturbing the adjudication process. Young children should remain in the lobby for the performance to prevent distractions.

After our festival session, Singers and their families are welcome to celebrate at Adventureland! The park is open until 6:00 p.m. for our festival participants.  Families may go to Adventureland at a time that is most convenient for them!
There is NO FEE to enter Adventureland! Parents must pick up any extra ride bracelets at the performance venue or at Adventureland. We typically hand out bracelets after the performance while we wait for our trophy!
Inclement weather: If it rains on our festival day (other than a light rain), Adventureland will issue ticket vouchers. Vouchers can be used either together as a group, or students can use them individually any time during the 2017 season.

Any questions or concerns you may contact me directly at cbraunreuther@lichildrenschoir.org. Looking forward to a fun day! Thank you to everyone who is able to participate!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Braunreuther
